Having received the university's approval, the masters' curriculum now must be accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, an independent enterprise recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit academies of public health and public health platforms outside institutions of public health. Sacred Heart will submit an application to begin that process abruptly, Greer mentioned .
Candidates for the graduate planned must have a bachelor's degree in any major from a four-year accredited university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, they must have earned a C grade or highest in college-level pre-calculus, statistics and sociology or psychology .
