In response to student request, Sacred Heart University in Farifield is lending a master of public health platform with a fail 2018 start -- and program head Anna Greer couldn't be more pleased .
" I'm unusually stimulated about it ," answered Greer, an assistant professor at Sacred Heart since 2011 and head of the undergraduate program superintendent in employ science." In addition to the field of workout discipline or kinesiology, students prosecuting the master's degree in public health will be introduced to public health philosophies, program planning, community state development, gift writing, epidemiology and biostatistics, health disposal and morals, according to Greer. Having received the university's approval, the masters' curriculum now must be accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, an independent bureau recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside class of public health. Sacred Heart will submit an application to begin that process abruptly, Greer added .
Candidates for the grad platform must have a bachelor's degree in any significant from a four-year accredited university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, they must have earned a C tier or highest in college-level pre-calculus, statistics and sociology or psychology .
" I want to build a program that facilitates the development of other qualified public health professionals is fully committed to and elicited about improving society state ," spoke Greer.
