In response to student ask, Sacred Heart University in Farifield is contributing a master of public health program with a dusk 2018 propel -- and platform conductor Anna Greer couldn't be more pleased .

Having received the university's approval, the masters' planned now must be accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, an independent authority recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit academies of public health and public health planneds outside academies of public health. Sacred Heart will submit an application to begin that process shortly, Greer enunciated .
Candidates for the alumnu platform must have a bachelor's degree in any major from a four-year accredited university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, they must have earned a C grade or highest in college-level pre-calculus, statistics and sociology or psychology .
" I want to build a program that facilitates the development of other qualified public health professionals is fully committed to and excited about improving parish state ," answered Greer. She estimated that the initial class will include 15 to 20 students, and said the search for three core faculty members should be underway by this descent .
