Having received the university's approval, the masters' curriculum now must be accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, an independent organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health planneds outside class of public health. Sacred Heart will submit an application to begin that process abruptly, Greer responded .
Candidates for the alumnu program must have a bachelor's degree in any significant from a four-year accredited university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, they must have earned a C grade or higher in college-level pre-calculus, statistics and sociology or psychology .
" I want to build a program that facilitates the development of other qualified public health professionals is fully committed to and aroused about improving society health ," mentioned Greer. She estimated that the initial class will include 15 to 20 students, and said the search for three core faculty member should be underway by this die .
